Jim’s legal education culminated with a successful passing of the Massachusetts Bar Examination in February 2014. We are proud of the fact that he is one of two individuals in Massachusetts holding active CPA, CVA and JD titles. He is an avid accountant with the edge of unparalleled legal knowledge.
Education
In May 2012 Jim received a Juris Doctor Degree from Suffolk University School of Law. He was among the top of his class, in fact, in 2006, he received First Year Distinguished Oral Advocate Award as one of two top-ranking students. Jim completed his Bachelor of Science studies (Magna Cum Laude) with a major in Accounting at Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio. Shortly after graduation, he obtained his CPA License and became a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA). James holds active CPA and CVA Licenses.
Continuing Professional Education
Jim has completed the mandatory 80 hours of Audit and Assurance CPE as well as 24 hours of Yellow Book CPE as required by Government Auditing Standardsover the past two years.
Professional Experience
Jim has been practicing public accounting since 1998. His professional career spans banking, corporate, governmental and non-profit areas. He has been performing nonprofit audits since the year 2000.
